This above session is for those interested in learning about showhunter.  The season is starting now.  There is a 'winter series' booked and then very early next season the 'NI Champs' are being held, (we hold trials to make up teams to attend these) so this is your chance to become fully informed and look at starting your training !

        Mounted if you wish to participate - must be able to jump 65cm at least 

This is an opportunity for a little bit of 'end of season' fun/challenge with no pressure. 

NTPC Cups Day begins with Best Cared for Junior, Intermediate and Senior classes @ 8:30am sharp infront of the NPPC Clubrooms. The Rayward Cup Best Cared for starts at 9am. Access is off Coronation Ave by Saddle and Sulky Motel, go through the gate in the post and rail fence (close afterwards) and follow the road past the stable until you get to the stewards shed on your right. Go through the gate (close afterwards) and proceed across both the grass and sand tracks to the all weather trotting track around the inner oval. Proceed around in the one way clockwise direction to park on both sides before the clubrooms.
In clase of inclement weather, a postponement message will be posted here asap on Sunday morning and on the radio.

Good luck to Reuben Gray and Esther Konlechner (reserve) who are representing Taranaki at the NZPCA Mounted Games Championships in Straford this weekend. Come and support them and see top class games riders competing. Saturday from 9:30 am on the and Sunday from 8:30 am. It's at the Stratford A&P grounds on Flint road. This is the first road on your left as you come into Stratford (in the 70 km zone) - come up the second driveway on your left.

Congratulations to Reuben Gray on his 10th placing in the Training (95cm) class at NZPCA Champs in Oamaru. He and Tracey Bolton from Waitara PC placed 3rd in the Training Teams Section. Anna Hinton (Oakura PC) won the A1 (1.05, 17- 23 yrs) class which is a awesome result in her first year in this class.

There will be 'HORSEMASTERSHIP' for the D+/C level with Anthea for the first session, so those wanting to get this signed off their cards, please remain unmounted at 12.30 (WITH YOUR MANUALS!).  The C+ and above will be mounted with Kelly and Emily and the beginners also mounted for GAMES with Lee and Katrina.   C+ riders will do 'HORSEMASTERSHIP' second session with Kelly.  
This rally will be inspected, so dont forget your uniforms etc.  and also please bring your manuals!!   Afternoon tea will follow after 3pm.
